We currently use PET plastic for most of our products as it offers the following properties:

1. Lightweight for transporting and packaging.
2.Strong flexible, minimising additional packaging.
3.Fully recyclable.
4.Low energy input to recycling.
5.The plastic does not leach harmful chemicals if placed in landfill.

For now, we are committed to increasing the level of PCR (Post-Consumer Waste) used within our PET bottles. By increasing this, we are working with our packaging partners on BIO plastic that offers incorporating more renewable plant materials (starch, glucose, vegetable oil and cellulose).

We are asking that you retain your Bottles and Jars and we will arrange pick up or postage. This is necessary to close the loop and keep Yanga Natural’s plastic supply completely self-sufficient and out of landfill. Finally, we have long term plans for bulk and refill containers.
